GLOBAL THANKSGIVING PRAYER & PRAISE TO GOD FOR TANZANIA AND HER PEOPLE

Teams Organizing the Conference


TEAM PRAYER

Led by Pastor Stella Swai, founder of Discipleship and Deliverance Ministries based in Silver Spring, Maryland. Pastor Swai will be assisted by Pastor Ability Emmanuel of Peoria, Illinois.

Responsibilities:

(1) Pray for God’s move to bless this event that is solely dedicatedtoexalting Him for what He did and continued to do in Tanzania.

(2) Pray and bless each committee to reach their goals on time.

(3) Pray for outpouring prayers to support this event.

(4) Pray for surpassing favor for financial support.

(5) Pray for sponsors for this event to come from North, South, East, and West.

(6) Pray for traveling mercies for all those traveling to Tanzania or within Tanzania.

(7) Pray for preparations in Tanzania to go according to schedule and all resources provided.

(8) Pray to bind the strongman who may dare to interfere with our plans.

(9) Pray for God’s anointing for all those that will speak or perform at this event.

(10) Pray for the final event, dinner in the State House to come to pass.

(11) Above all, pray for God’s glory to be manifested in a very profound way so that people know without a doubt that Jesus is Lord.

(12) Pray for recruitment of volunteers to undertake different tasks.

(13) Set practical milestones for prayer points and timelines as the Lord leads.

(14) Work hand in hand with other committees.

TEAM FINANCE

Led by Minister Lucy Shimwela from Huntsvile, Alabama working with Christian Mission Church of Birmingham, Alabama and Mana Ministries USA of Mineapolis, Minesota. Minister Shimwela is assisted by Minister Okoka Sanga from Silver Spring, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

(1) Coordinate to create a working budget for each committee and the entire TEAM.

(2) Come up with means of fundraising for Phase 1 of the Maasai Clinic ($100,000) and funds to pay for this event here in the US during preparations and in Tanzania (at least $20,000) including Gofundme.

(3) Keep the records of income and expenses for the committee.

(4) Identify the cost of the souvenir and come up with the targeted price so as to recover the cost and get some profit.

(5) Overseesouvenir sales,i.e., flags, coffee mugs,hats, etc.

(6) Establish categories of sponsorship (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and their respective perks.

(7) Report the income and expenditure to the TEAM.

(8) Set practical milestones and timelines as the Lord leads.

(9) Work hand in hand with other committees.

TEAM COMMUNICATION

Led by Pastor Catherine Abihudi of Chicago International Community Church, Chicago, Illinois and assisted by Minister Patrick Khayumbi, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Maryland.

Responsibilities:

(1) Identify objectives as set out in the scope.

(2) Choose target audiences and a variety of stakeholders.

(3) Identify various means of advertising including website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

(4) Come up with an effective and efficient strategy for creative promotion.

(5) Select communication methods/means suitable for each/all audience.

(6) Plan and ensure a two-way communication.

(7) Establish the time frame/Come up with some milestones.

(8) Combine “a detailed list” of all stakeholders.

(9) Prepare the mini budget for promoting the event

(10) Monitor the results and look for ways to improve.

(11) Come up with a communication template.

(12) Set practical milestones and timelines as the Lord leads.

(13) Work hand in hand with other committees.

TEAM TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION

Led by Pastor Charles Abihudi of Chicago International Community Church, Chicago, Illinois assisted by Minister Elias Mwita, owner of Tuzola.com, a Travel Agent Company based in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities:

(1) Identify the people who are willing to travel to Tanzania for the event

(2) Organize transportation when needed.

(3) Check with airlines going to Tanzania to see if they can sponsor the event by giving free or discounted tickets.

(4) Check with the local committee in Dar es Salaam about local transportation while in Dar ieto / from the national stadium.

(5) Assist in securing hotel at the good rate if needed.

(6) Set practical milestones and timelines as the Lord leads.

(7) Work hand in hand with other committees.

TEAM PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Led by Minister Milca Kakete, founder of Milca Kakete Ministries based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Responsibilities:

(1) Coordinate with Praise and Worship Team in Dar es Salaam to plan for this historic event.

(2) Develop and finalize the theme song that will be sang at the National Stadium in front of the guest of honor His Excellency, President Dr. John Pombe Magufuli.

(3) Coordinate with other singers to form the backup singers for the theme song.

(4) Plan in coordination with Dar es Salaam Team what composition of Praise and Worship that will be presented in those three days. That may include solo performances, group performances and mass choirs.

(5) Coordinate with Dar es Salaam Team to know who will be playing instruments to back up singers.

(6) Coordinate with Dar es Salaam Team about supply of equipments including sound systems, etc..

(7) Coordinate with Dar es Salaam Team to plan for the stage … how it will look like for all 3 days.
